What is grounding and how can it help me?
The grounding research is piling up and showing what the ancients have known for a long time. Being connected to the Earth has many benefits to the physical body, along with feeling more balanced emotionally and sharpening our mental clarity.
Grounding benefits our health by:
Decreasing pain and inflammation
Reducing Stress
Improving Circulation
To understand grounding for your body you can think of an electrical device that needs to be grounded to prevent shocks and allow excess energy to safely leave the system. Our bodies need to be grounded and connected to the electromagnetic field of the Earth so the natural energy exchange can take place.
When we are grounded we can get rid of what is weighing us down, all the excess that we don't need!

How is being grounded related to your energy systems?
Energy flows in patterns.
Yin energy flows up the body from Earth to Sky. Yang energy flows down the body from Sky to Earth. The basics of energy flows in the body.
When you connect and promote those natural energy flows your body is grounded and connected in a very powerful way. It's such a foundational practice and can positively impact so many conditions. I always come back to my grounding because that is where it all begins!
